I was going to add some video solutions to problems subscribers had asked about but it seems that it is not possible using the sites audio/video publishing feature at the present time. I have submitted a support ticket but so far haven't heard anything.
I guess, I shouldn't expect to see anything but 1 - 10 in the "Page Rank Checker" only thing bothering me is all I have checked had the same rank. I do much better just searching for ebooklisting, or my name.
So far it looks like I may not get hurt too bad for costs. Although there is over $1,000 in doctor bills that Medicare said wasn't necessary. Even though they (x-ray, and ultrasound evaluations) were requested by my primary doctor in the hospital.
One thing bothers me, if a bill isn't accepted by Medicare an appeal has to be filed to try and correct the issue. Costs me and anyone involved excessive time to try and resolve problem. I have no choice but to call my primary doctor and request he file the appeal for me. Then he has to have someone hunt up relevant info and take the time to resubmit it as an appeal.
No wonder doctors complain about regulation. It seems that Medicare doesn't care about time and costs to individuals and doctors. I don't understand how there can be so much fraud if everyone was treated the same way. Almost seems like some Medicare employees doesn't use the same rules for everyone. This is an area that sure seems to me to be an area needing some evaluation.
I have a feeling that even though it might cost the Government some money; a lot more could be saved by doing things electronically. I signed up for MyMedicare.com and sometimes the site works but many times I get an apology and am asked to try again later. I have to laugh at electronic transfers especially when they take two weeks to be posted. My bank can do it in real time although they like to hold funds from other banks and insurance companies for a period of 6 days. If, I spend or withdraw money, it is instantaneous.
Time for me to get off the soap box...
I am going through a learning process on health care. I had always been lucky and didn't spend anytime in a hospital or requiring much more than a couple checkups per year. Now, I'm beginning to see what everyone is complaining about on the subject of health care. I always grumbled when my costs increased between 7 and 12 percent per year while my co-pays were increasing. I only required a couple pills and doctor visits per year.
I didn't realize how lucky I was until I started receiving bills for my hospital stay. My bills have now reached over $50,000.00 for 7 days in a hospital and I'm not done yet because of ongoing tests. Then I'm receiving bills from doctors I didn't see or talk with during my stay. These are from doctors behind the scenes that are actually assisting your primary or referred physician. I am on Medicare and was lucky enough to have an advantage plan; so most bills are covered.
I doubt that most people have any idea how expensive a hospital stay can be unless they have experienced one. If, I hadn't had my coverage this one stay would have wiped out about a 20th of my lifetime savings. Meaning, my lifestyle would definitely have to change to meet the new conditions. It also seems that because I have now had a medical problem; I am being told that I require more visits and testing.
I have also been referred to another specialist because my doctor is a general practitioner and wants verification that he is taking the appropriate action. This makes it actually be for my benefit since it should educate me more and also verify my doctors prescriptions and advice. I am lucky again, because I am able to use generic drugs for most of my prescriptions.
I know I'm off topic but since this was such a shock to me; I thought maybe others would be interested in what I'm learning the hard way. It might let the think ahead and possibly be better prepared.
My dad always told me it was hell to get old after he turned 75. I guess I have begun feeling the same way. I ended up getting blood clots in both lungs about a month ago. They say I spent too much time working on computer and not enough exercising. I am just now getting back to where I feel well enough to work on my sites.
I am considering changing hosting providers since my email address seems to have been hi-jacked and has been used for spamming. It won't happen for a while and I will keep the domain name; just change email provider.
I would like to find someone to update web pages and upload products to my hosting service. I would like to sit it up similar to affiliate sales paying a good commission 60% with a wide margin on price range. I own Master Resale Rights to most of my products.
I have had a tough week or two; my sisters husband has been battling cancer for a couple years now. He took a turn for the worse and passed away last Thursday. We are in the middle of a winter weather bulletin and making arrangements more difficult.
My costs seem to be increasing and it is making it more difficult to maintain a free site. Time and money is becoming a larger problem problem than it used to be in years past. I tried maintaining this site for newbies and those without much money but it seems that my traffic has slowed down recently. Since affiliate sales was the method of funding this site; without traffic the sales have fallen off.
I have a multitude of products with PLR, Resale, and Master Resale Rights. In fact, I spend more time downloading from paid sites than I have for updating my sites. I have tried to locate someone with experience creating sales pages and minisites without much success.
Things are changing and it is getting harder and harder to meet all the demands. The FTC has made changes that require advertising to be very specific. It mainly pertains to reviews and testimonials being posted and notification of compensation being received. I'm not a lawyer and only hope that I have read and understand their requirements.
I was a little shocked when I opened my website and found basically a blank page. I didn't realize I had set this page active until today, Sep 15, 2009. I will have to see how many people accessed the page sine the 8th and see how many others were shocked. At least it was nice and clean, which is what I thought I was going to accomplish. Only problem is I don't remember what I had planned to start with on this page; so please bare with me...
I am going to try and help some newbies with researching products on this page. I have been asked several times recently for help getting started. Again, we all like something for nothing but most will tell you that it will have little perceived value. I suppose the first thing you need to do is "learn how to use a search engine" I mean really learn how to search and research information.
There is much to be learned about using search engines and creating a method of extracting the data you are looking to find. Sometimes it requires digging much deeper than most realize. My favorite search engine is Google*; there are several others available; but don't seem to provide the same level and methods of digging.
Do You Know How To Use These (-, "", []) Symbols For Searching?
(-XXXX) minus sign = don't match this term
("XXXX XXXX") quotation signs = exact match of term or terms
([XXXX XXXX XXXX]) close bracket signs = exact match of phrase
No signs = matches any term listed
There are many more terms and ways to search with a lot less effort than you may be using now.
In the next few days, I will try to provide you with some useful tips for finding useful information, using mainly tools provided by Google*. But first, here is a free (not Google* tool) for indicating keyword daily useage.
