Marketing Strategies and Ideas
I just renamed this page from 'Daily Marketing Ideas' because it didn't turn out to have daily info. I look for some things that might be worthwhile and check hits to pages. I had quite a few when I first put the page up. Since I didn't change data on the page, the hits just dropped off, wasn't to much of a surprise. I have had so many irons in the fire lately, that this website is suffering. Marketing is such a diversified field; no one can keep up with all aspects of marketing strategies.Marketing strategies need to be planned and implemented and adjusted as required.
Soap Box Time
I have about a dozen ideas that I'm looking into at the present time. Some seem pretty good others are just so, so. I am told that everything I do on this site; should be done from a marketing point of view. In fact, I've been told that I'm wasting my time, because I'm not marketing, or selling products on this site. I do have a few affiliate links, but they don't make enough money to pay for the site all the time. The part that bothers me the most is that I don't get enough feedback from the membership.
I am being told, that it's my own fault because free products de-values the entire site. I have read that opinion in the past, but I know if you are just starting out many times money is tight. I know there is some interest in the site, because of the number of subscribers.
What I don't seem to be able to accomplish is getting participation by YOU the subscribers, within the site. I can't seem to break through and get subscribers to respond to questions, or post in the forum. This site was established to help newbies (beginners) to get started with out spending hours and hours of time, or hundreds of dollars learning what everyone has to learn. Maybe it has to be learned the hard way, I don't know why.If we help one another we should all profit. Look at the big boys of the internet, they tend to work together.
The lack of participation makes it more difficult for me to work here on an everyday basis. I have other interest, and marketing endeavors to explore, and this is another one of my time eaters. Because there is a pretty good members base; I will keep working at it, and maybe find some new partners that can keep my energy in this area flowing. I get about 4 new members a day, and the numbers will lead to some active and willing participants at some point in time. I would just like to see a higher conversion rate, and I'm looking for some partners for new projects. Communication is the first and largest attribute in any partnership or life. Without it, you have very little or nothing to learn from and expand yuour knowledge.
Bouncing ideas off other people can be a quick way of learning and also helps in new idea generation. It's these new ideas that can help you become successful. Work together and create some new marketing strategies and you can bet you will come out way ahead of the game. I know we all like to be independent, but that may not be best if you are trying to be successful in business unless you have a monopoly.
