Target Sales Letters
For Best Results
There are good and bad sales letters; the good ones usually follow a pretty given set of rules. Eye catching title(s), short paragraphs, each paragraph will lead into the next, most use some form of bullets and plenty of white space between paragraphs, they sell benefits more than features, testimonials, a call for action, P.S's. Probably the most important part of the sales letter is that it must be aimed at a specific market, and targeted for the customer.
The best sales letters target a specific customer and then use language and details that apply to that very specific customer. That doesn't mean you can't use basically the same sales letter; but you do need to adjust the language and details to fit each different targeted customer. In other words, if you have a product that can be used by several different types of customer; you will probably improve your conversion rate by creating a more target specific sales letter.

The same holds true for other types of customers. More sales will result from the use of more targeted sales letters according to successful marketers. I don't sell much on this site but using some other sites to point to this site has increased membership. The other sites are more specific or targeted to smaller customer bases.
I am convinced that targeting specific customers will result in more positive response rates which should lead to more sales.
